Along a boardwalk above The Strip, Aladdin features a facade resembling Arabian and Indian palaces, along with a massive stone waterfall. The hotel offers 2,567 rooms in a main building of 38 stories and two 23-floor towers. Features include giant sculptures relating to tales in 1,001 Arabian Nights and the world's largest indoor light board that displays a constantly changing, 130-foot garden of blossoms.

What to expect: Above the main casino, the upscale London Club offers a posh ambience of evening-dress dealers, plush seating, and high-limit tables. The pool complex offers two large, heated pools flanking an expansive sundeck dotted with palm trees. The shopping/dining promenade runs in a 1.2-mile circle under a softly lighted "sky" ceiling. The opulent, 32,000-square-foot Elemis Spa offers two-room suites for couples, beauty treatments, and a fitness center.

Amenity highlights: A 9.5-acre Mediterranean garden featuring fruit trees and slender cypresses contains six heated pools, three with oversize fountains and the two largest-180 feet and 150 feet long-open year-round. The garden also offers four jet spas roomy enough for 12-18 people, expansive sundecks, and luxurious for-rent cabanas furnished with television, telephone, refrigerator, sink, dining set, padded lounges, and both ceiling fan and misting system for cooling.

Insider tip: Located between the main casino and the mezzanine, Sinbad's Lounge is a terrific place not only for enjoying live evening entertainment but for viewing the hotel's entire neon-lit spectacle.

Dining

Spice Market Buffet - Frequently honored as Las Vegas's best, this all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant offers various international food stations for lunch and dinner, including Italian, American, and Middle Eastern, along with salad/soup stations and a vast dessert station.

Elements - All curves, polished wood, and shiny surfaces, this sleek restaurant features steaks, chops, seafood, and a notable wine list.

The Sushi Bar - This spot is adjacent to Elements restaurant.

P.F. Chang's China Bistro - This large restaurant offers inside and outside seating and serves regional Chinese cuisine.

Tremezzo - Offering inside seating under colorful murals and open-air terrace seating above The Strip, this restaurant features Italian cuisine.

Zanzibar Cafe - This casual restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the main casino floor.

Towering Palms Cafe - Open during the warm season, this restaurant serves sunbathers on the pool deck located six floors above The Strip.

Entertainment

The 7,000-seat Theatre for the Performing Arts offers Broadway touring shows, boxing matches, and made-for-television shows such as cheerleading contests.

In the Center Stage showroom, Society of Seven presents a musical/comedy revue. Later at night, the showroom features An Erotic Adventure of sexy showgirls and comedy.

A nightclub within Sevilla restaurant presents Bravo Charo, a revue featuring Charo playing flamenco guitar along with flamenco dancers, jugglers, and aerialists.

Consisting of six different settings and featuring two DJs, the sleek nightclub Curve provides music and dancing for a young, dressy crowd.

Comprising more than 100,000 square feet, the casino supplies slots, video poker, backjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, pai gow, and a sports book. Located on the mezzanine level, the posh London Club provides an additional 35,000 square feet of gaming space.
