First time in Vegas and stayed at the Bellagio Oct 31-Nov 2nd. The Hotel was beautiful and met all of our expectations that we had from looking at their website. The service was great and the room was spectacular. Everything was new and clean. Our room faced the pools in the back which was nice but I heard that the lakeviews were even better. We were on the 12th floor and could hear a little of the construction going on above us but it was only during the day and wasnt constant. Went swimming in one of the outdoor pools which was amazing. The air temp was 60 but the pool was heated and felt great. Had dinner at Circo and felt it was way over priced for what you got for your money. Didnt get into the spa but friends of ours did who loved it. We had a great time at the Bellagio and I would recommend it to my family and friends.
My husband & I just spent 3 wonderful nights at the Bellagio! We stayed in the Salon Suite on the 21st floor. Check-in was a breeze because staying in a suite allowed us "Invited Guest" check-in so we didn't have to wait in any long lines. The room was fabulous with a view of the strip and the Bellagio fountains. We had room service twice and it was exceptional though quite expensive but if you are going to stay in a 5 star hotel in Vegas that is expected. We were treated wonderfully, the staff was always very courteous. The Cafe Bellagio was awesome, great food! We didn't eat at any other restaurants in the Bellagio because we had reservations at Emeril Lagassi's Fishhouse(@ MGM) and Top of the World(@ the Stratosphere). If you're ever in Vegas - go to Emeril's. Best food we have ever eaten and not to badly priced. Top of the World was everything we expected, elegant and great food but a little to high in the air for us. A great experience, glad we did it, but will never do again. If you don't mind heights and a rotating restaurant - it's the best views of Vegas here folks! We also visited the Spa at the Bellagio which was a great experience and we were well taked care of. I have nothing bad to say about the Bellagio - it was wonderful, but bring lots of $$$$$.
Stayed there for 2 nights in mid-september. I can only say: BEWARE !!!Major reconstruction going on, we stayed on the 21st floor and on our second day noise started from the floors above. They are apparently renovating 23rd and 24th, jackhammers etc. We didnt want to change rooms and after some complaining we received a discount on the room and a free dinner (that's the only positive). But still they are selling rooms with knowledge that people will be troubled by construction noise. Also they started building a new hotel tower right next to the pool area so you will find noise there for the next 6 months or so. I can not understand how this property was able to receive a 5-star award. Carpets were stained, holes and staines in the bed linen are more like a 3 star hotel. Also it took more than 30 minutes to get our luggage up to our room by the bell service.Unless you get a very cheap rate, I would recommend staying somewhere else to avoid disappointment. Go and see "O" by Cirque the soleil though which is absolutely magnificent.
My expectations were way too high for this property. It looks great from the outside, but lacks the amenities I am used to. Check in line was a nightmare, and finally we were shown to our 21st floor room. When we emerged from the elevator the sound of jackhammers was overwhelming. More so in our room. I called the front desk (and was put on hold for 5 minutes) to be informed that construction was taking place above us from 9:00am until 9:00pm. No way I said, and was promptly moved to the 9th floor. Lovely rooftop view, and a bathroom floor covered in long black hair from the previous guest. No coffee maker !!! (it was $5.25 in the lobby for a cup). Stay at the Four Seasons and be treated like royalty. DD
My husband and I enjoyed every second. It's such a beautiful place that we are going again this year. We won't stay anywhere else. |
