My boyfriend and I stayed at Caesars in July of 2003. It was our first trip to Las Vegas and it turned out to be the best vacation we've ever had. Check in at the airport was a breeze. When we got to the hotel, we traded in our standard room for a petite suite at no charge and it was fabulous! Usually they charge extra for the upgrade, so do it if they offer it. Our room overlooked the fountains of Bellagio and we had so many complimentary services thrown our way we didn't know what to do with all of them. We aren't even big gamblers! The staff is excellent. They are very helpful and want to make sure your stay is the best. We felt like VIPs our entire stay. Definetly stay at Caesars if you value good food, good service, and fabulous accomadations.
Caesar's was terrific for customer service. Room service breakfast promised in 30 minutes arrived in 15, consistently. Rooms as quiet as any hotel I've ever stayed in. Palace Tower rooms are so convenient to the pools (3 pools, one for topless). Water temperature wonderful. Loved Celine Dion show (what amazing visual effects), "O" was fabulous and Zumanity was interesting although as billed, the 'other side of Cirque du Soleil'...no holds barred. Ate at Bradley Ogden (new in Caesar's), Spago in the Forum area, and Aureole at Mandalay Bay (the bread was out of this world and the wine retrieval a nice 'talk about' touch.) Hot stones massage at The Spa at Caesar's, although expensive, was an hour and a half of stress reduction. (I'd always wanted that kind of massage and it didn't disappoint). Red Rock Canyon was very pretty, although not as extensive as I expected.
We were to stay for 4 days and checked out after one and moved to the Bellagio. What once used to be a kitschy, somewhat upscale but very fun Vegas hot-spot, has been reduced to 24/7 commercial for over-the-top yowler Celine Dion. You better like her (we used to like here in small doses) because she's in your face everywhere on the property. You'll hear her warblings non-stop in the casino, see here on screens everywhere, including the elevators and should you be a total Dion devotee you can even shop at the Celine Dion store! Gee, and if that's not enough, you can even go and see her show in the theatre built just for her! We chose not to as we very quickly had had enough of her.The best thing that can be said about Caesars now is that it functions as a way to get to the Forum Shops. Also the hotel part is overpriced for what you get and the staff act as if they are robots who would all rather be somewhere else. Either that or they've all been Dionized out of their minds.
stayed there last time i was in vegas, and will be going back soon. we got there and the place is first class all the way. at any rate had a small mix up when we got there, but it was handled immediatly. when we got to the room i have to say it was clean and nice but on first looks i expected more, it was nice and all but kind of plain. however once we got in the room and looked around i changed my opinion fast. yes the rooms were kind of plain looking i guess i thought it would be really over the top and it wasnt, however i sat in the chair and i melted into it, i swear i never stole a thing in my life but if i could have i would have taken that chair it was the most comfortable chair i ever sat in. the beds were clean soft and comfortable. everything was great the bathroom had a soak tub and the shower had like 10 shower heads going off at you at once it was great. they used real glass in the bathrooms unlike the riv when i stayed there you had plastic cups in the rooms. you got plenty of toiletries. the carpet was clean and fresh the room was great and extremly comfortable. my clicker broke in the room i called the front desk to see what i could do about it. i swear i hung up the phone and there was a knock on my door and a man was there with a new clicker for me hows that for service. the forum shops were wonderful, and there food there is great. cant say enough about this place i will be back for more i like being pampered and here they do it and do it well
I was expecting a fabulous Vegas vacation...but instead got a horrible low-rate experience that even a hobo would pass up! The check-in was bad (it lasted 33 minutes because of little staff). Once getting to our room, we were surprised with 4 unfamiliar suitcases sitting on our bed. We called the front desk, they apologized and then sent OURS up (after an hour of waiting). My fiance and I went out for the evening then. When we came back, we were exhausted and headed to bed. When I lifted up our covers, I found a dead fly and about 7 cigarette burns in the sheet. Then, at about 3:30 a.m., there was a tremendous crash outside our door which was then followed with the loud screaming of heavy Spanish. I called front desk (again), if they could send security up to take care of this problem (the people wouldn't stop screaming). I think we both finally got to bed at about 6 a.m. after THAT ordeal. In the morning, I reached outside our door for our newspaper. Covered in the hallway, there was a large mess of (what I thought) cheese pizza...along with the box and all. We complained to the front desk about this disgusting mess and stormed out to get breakfast elsewhere. Apon our return at noon, the pizza mess was STILL sitting there.Well, more disasterous things happened during our stay there...but I'm afaid I'll stop it at that! DISGUSTING! NEVER WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN!
We have been to Vegas about eight times. Our very first stay was at Ceasar's Palace. Still to this day it remains the best place we've stayed in Vegas. Ceasars is a class act all the way! |
