We stayed in November as two family groups, each with 3 kids. The rooms where comfortable, the bathroom very roomy. We went for a walk only the strip the next day, past TI and all these other wonderfull looking casinos, through Ceasars Palace and its wonderful themes and watched the Atlantis Show and all the kids could do was whinge to go back to Circus Circus and hang out there. They loved the circus theme and all the rides and shows. Thankfully they were all old enough to stay whilst we looked around some more. An excellent fun place to stay at with kids.
Dont go to circus circus if you are a drunk or an old slot addict. This hotel is a brilliant place for a family with fast attentive staff and good rooms. As a popular hotel it can get quite busy but the wait at check-in is worth it. I requested a high tower room with a forward view and this was no problem with a 32nd floor room quickly allocated. In the room was a comfortable space , two queen beds ,large bathroom and a brilliant view. The hotel pools have hot spas but the large rectangular pool at the RV park is the best with a spa and sauna and is easily accesed through the sky casino and moving walkway from the lobby. The restaurant queues can be beaten by crossing the road to the rivieras food court which is large and varied , however the circus steakhouse is the best in Las Vegas for good reason. Loads of on site shopping and entertainment with circus acts every half hour and most lasting for 20 mins. Housekeeping is fast , smiling and courteous. No drunken stag nights , no nude parties , and family orientation throughout , just make a point of talking to people and finding out what is where. Remember its a busy , popular hotel for people with kids and as with all of las vegas it gets busier on a weekend.
Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. As were most people, we were attracted to the cheap rates, but holy cow was it not worth saving the extra twenty bucks. Check-in was VERY unfriendly, and after requesting a room close to the hotel we were placed in the new tower - which was honestly a ten minute walk from our room to the front of the hotel. The room was small, beds were mildly comfortable but clean, but the bathroom was large, which was the only good part about the whole experience. We were forced to walk from the front of the casino to the rear, which is usually not a problem, but in this case the casino is TERRIBLE along and is most backwards setup in Vegas. The rest of the hotel is dirty and is setup more like a daycare center than a casino. The trip to the pool took three elevators. Unreal. Dont stay here, shell out the extra ten bucks a night and stay at the Riviera or Sahara.
We stayed at Circus Circus in September 2003, and found it OK. It is nowhere near the standard of the more well-known hotels, but it was clean & spacious, if a little tatty - but then you're not paying the price of Bellagio! Pool area was disappointing-surrounded by brick wall & overlooked by road. You also had to go through the casio in your beach-wear to get to the pool. Plenty of sunbeds and clean free towels though. Situated at far end of the strip, and getting home from Luxor side was a nightmare, due to the amount of traffic-often took 1 1/2 hours. Lots of kids, but would be great for families. Checking in was terrible, no system, free-for all took forever. Breakfast buffet excellent value for money
I booked this hotel for a business trip sight unseen. What a mistake! When I arrived I couldn't bring myself to check in. I was greeted at the entrance by two women fighting and the police trying to break them up. The lobby is mangy, with stained carpeting that smells of goodness knows what. The hotel's atmosphere is terrible. I quickly moved to another hotel and I was never more glad to leave a place in my life. Now, I am no Donald Trump, but trust me when I tell you, in my opinion Circus Circus Las Vegas is a dump!
I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel to spend the week in with room for a family of 4. I found it here in a tower room. The rooms were spacious enough to please all of us the bathroom was also very large and all inclusive(the sink was in the bathroom and not in the room) Shower, tub, toilet, sink and large vanity. The beds were queen size and comfortable. Yes, the hotel is "kid Oriented" but you need to expect that if you're going to stay here. There is plenty for them to do along with the adults too. |
