Las Vegas - Flamingo Las Vegas: "Flamingo was an overall good experience"

We stayed at the Flamingo for three nights in mid October, arriving on a Wednesday and leaving on a Saturday. It was our first trip to Vegas, and my wife and I really enjoyed it. Our room was excellent, on an upper level floor, facing the strip.Overall, the Flamingo was a very good experience. The only complaints that I have were the slow check in, and although the vast majority of the dealers were friendly and helpful, a couple seemed to act like they wish they were elsewhere. I would stay there again, as I enjoyed the experience, the casino and the location.

Stayed at the Flamingo in mid July 2003, I can tell you that I was pleasantly surprised. First was given a room at the end of the hallway, far away from the elevators. Since my wife has trouble walking we requested a room closer to the elevators. Within 30 minutes there was a bellman at our door who escorted us to another room, and what a room. Upon opening the drapes we were looking directly at the front entrance to Caesars Palace. The room had a king size bed with a love seat, and was extremely clean. The restaurants were adequate but nothing to brag about. The staff was helpful and courteous. The pools and gardens are beautiful. We will stay here again next year when we return. I have stayed at New York, New York, Mirage, Mandalay Bay, Imperial Palace, and Harrah's and for the money this was the best.

I recently returned from my 1st trip to Las Vegas. I thought the Flamingo was great. We checked in at the airport and checked out through the TV. We never even had to visit the front lobby or wait in line. They put us in a room that was high up and facing the Strip. We could even watch the Bellagio fountain show from it. The room was very clean but nothing spectacular. You can definitely tell it is an older hotel. The pool area was beautiful. We did not swim since the temperature was pretty cool while we were there. The best part about the Flamingo is that the rooms are cheap and the location is ideal. It is right in the middle of the Strip and for a 1st trip to Vegas it was perfect. I would definitely recommend it.

My boyfriend and I were at the Flamingo from Oct 26 through Nov 1st 2003. The room we had was very nice. The restaurants in the Flamingo I thought were too expensive. We ate at another hotel the whole week we where there. Also the slots didn't pay off to well either.
