Hotel Overview

Polynesian-themed hotel with erupting volcano The hotel's very own volcano spews smoke and fire 100 feet above the waters below (evenings). The waterfall streams with molten lava. Remodeled in 2002, guestrooms offer semi-canopy beds. Suites feature a TV that rises from a cabinet located at the foot of the bed. Spa facilities include a gym, steam rooms, saunas, fruit/juice bar, and full vanity area (free access with selected spa treatments).

Dining

Renoir - Featuring $10 million worth of Impressionist paintings, including four by Renoir himself, this elegant restaurant also offers culinary artistry. Chef Alessandro Stratta produces a tasting menu with wine pairings and fixed-priced menus of offerings such as potato-crusted Dover sole, roasted squab with foie gras, and fricassee of rabbit.

Onda - This elegant restaurant features Italian food.

Mikado - This restaurant serves sushi, teppanyaki preparations, and á la carte Japanese fare in lovely surroundings.

Moongate - Delicate Cantonese cuisine is the focus here.

Samba Grill - Colorful and lively, Samba Grill specializes in Brazilian-style meats sliced from giant skewers at the table.

California Pizza Kitchen - This outpost of the popular Western chain serves pizzas, pastas, salads, and other light fare.

Kokomo's - Located in the atrium's tropical forest, Kokomo's specializes in steak and seafood served to a soothing background of falling water.

Mirage Buffet - This large, airy restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets and a brunch buffet on weekends.

Ava - Featuring rich tropical colors, Brazilian redwood, and distinctive lighting and artwork, Ava provides an intimate atmosphere in which guests can indulge in exotic specialty drinks and dance the night away.

Onda Lounge - Situated between Onda and Renoir restaurants, this lounge provides live music nightly and features a Bellini cocktail with a French twist.

Entertainment

The Dolphin Habitat is home to Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, which can be viewed frolicking in the water.

Given his own theater and widely recognized as one of the top acts in Las Vegas, master impressionist Danny Gans presents a show of comedy, music, and many voices.

Glittering shops and boutiques comprise The Shopping Promenade. Other hotel shops include one for dolphin souvenirs and one for Secret Garden souvenirs.

Other attractions include a 54-foot-high volcano in a streetside lagoon that erupts every 15 minutes from dusk to midnight, spewing fire and steam down its waterfall sides; a 20,000-gallon saltwater aquarium located behind the front desk; and a tropical rain forest located within a 90-foot-high atrium.

Comprising 100,000 square feet, the casino supplies slots, video poker, backjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, pai gow, keno, a poker room, and an expansive sports book.

One Bedroom Tower Suite
Private elevators whisk guests to these suites ranging from 1,100 to 1,600 square feet. Floor-to-ceiling windows, double doors in the bedroom. One king bed. Living/dining room has dining set with four chairs, two brocade couches, French Empire chair, alcove with bench, and Japanese screen. Marble wet bar with two stools and an antique armoire with TV/ VCR, CD player, and radio. Large bathroom suite has glass shower, spa tub, twin sinks, walk-in closet off dressing area, and toilet room with bidet. Three telephones. Remote-control button activates a television that rises from a cabinet at the foot of the bed. The bed's headboard consists of a panel of wood-framed mirrors.
