Location
Property amenitiesThe Hard Rock's facilities include the Cuba Libre Cigar Bar and The RockSpa, a full-service health-and-beauty spa that provides steam rooms, spas, Vichy showers, a fitness center, and offers body treatments and massage. Shuttles whisk guests to The Strip without charge. What to expect: Independently owned and not affiliated with Hard Rock Cafes or other Hard Rock hotels, the resort is casual to the point that office staffers are required to wear jeans, and is coolly contemporary rather than grungy. Guests enter under a 90-foot neon guitar and find a hotel chockablock with rock-'n'-roll memorabilia, including some 600 costumes, guitars, and concert posters. Amenity highlights: A three-acre jungle garden includes two sand-beach lagoon pools (open seasonally) connected by a channel, a spiral-tunnel water slide, a grotto bar, and four roomy spas. A wood gazebo contains blackjack and craps tables, and there are also three swim-up blackjack tables. For-rent, thatch-roof cabanas come with television, phone, and ceiling fan. Rock plays continuously. Insider tip: Thanks to underwater speakers, music can be heard below the swimming pools' surfaces.
DiningSimon - Chef Kerry Simon's contemporary restaurant offers indoor and poolside seating in an ambience of blond-wood floor, theatrical lighting, and exhibition kitchen. New American cuisine such as stuffed lobster and new-age meatloaf is the culinary theme, along with steaks and pasta. Nobu - Part of renowned Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa's empire that stretches from London to New York to Tokyo, this sleek restaurant of river stones and bamboo features a sushi bar and dishes such as shrimp and lobster in spicy lemon sauce as well as multi-course omakase (chef's choice) dinners. The Pink Taco - This rustic, casual Mexican restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. A taco maker works near the entrance. Mr. Lucky's - Open 24 hours for soups, salads, sandwiches, sundaes, and other fare. Decorated with Las Vegas memorabilia, including two of Bugsy Siegal's tuxedos. Starbucks - This popular chain serves coffee and pastries. Recreation
