My stay at the Star Dust was great due to the best customer service I have ever seen. I was in Vegas for the 1st time to take part in a friends wedding. When I arrived at the hotel after a long flight I walked into a room with a somewhat dirty bathroom. As a person that works in the hotel industry sometimes I must admit I can be a awful critic. The staff and management team where the best I've ever delt with. They quickly upgraded me to a different room which more than compensated me for basically being a big pain to them.

My 1st morning there I FEASTED at the breakfast buffet. The food was great!! Be sure not to miss out on that part of your visit to this hotel. The day of the wedding the bridal party paid a visit to the hotel salon. The lady that did our hair was AWSOME! She made a person feel and look like a real life movie star. I've already decided on my next trip I will be treating my self to another experience at that salon. Then on to the shops in the casino. Again above average service. I had a last minute shoe emergency before the wedding. The lady working in the store was in the back room digging for the perfect pair of shoes! She definatly saved the day for me! The Star Dust may be a older property, but they more than make up for it in customer service all the way around. I will be back there again and again!

We stayed one night at the Stardust, 10/26/03. We wanted to try one of the "old-time" Vegas hotels. We stayed in the West Tower, as I heard they were newer rooms. In short, the room was very disappointing, carpet badly worn and a burn holes, the bedding was worn and the sheets felt like sandpaper. Hey, I'm not expecting the Bellagio here, but come on!! On top of it both the hallway and room had a really funny odor, not disgusting, but pecuilar.The casino was OK, we've been there before and like the layout. We only ate breakfast at the coffe shop- it was OK, wasn't brave enough for the buffet.In general, we like the location and the fact that we didn't see a kid in the place. BUT... please, Boyd Corp, you need to put some $$ into renovations, soon!

My husband & I have stayed at the Stardust many times...people are very friendly and we love to gamble there BUT I think it is time that the Stardust has a "makeover". It's starting to look a little run down.

I have just returned home from my stay at the Stardust Hotel. Again, I had wonderful service from their friendly staff. The Stardust is a great place to stay in Vegas. I have been going there for 5 years now and I will not go anywhere else. I suggest signing up for their slot club cards, I have recieved many comps and great deals. I am not a VIP, but at the Stardust, they treat you like a VIP! Thanks again Stardust for a great stay!
