The closest airport to Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Strip is McCarran International Airport. The airport itself is divided into two terminals. Terminal 1 is used primarily for domestic flights and has four main gates (labeled A, B, C, and D). Terminal 2 is used primarily for international flights and domestic charter services.

Services available at McCarran International Airport include ticket counters for all airlines, shops, restaurants, full service banks, ATM machines, a chapel, lockers and baggage check room, a smoking lounge, many information desks, foreign currency exchanges, taxi and shuttle bus ground transportation desks, access to many rental car companies (Hertz, Avis, Budget, National, and many others), parking, a post office, newsstands, and airline clubs (membership required).

Getting from the Airport to the Strip

Once you arrive at McCarran International Airport, the Las Vegas Strip is just a short drive away by rental car, limousine, or taxi. Shuttle busses are also available that will take you directly to your hotel. From baggage claim, follow the appropriate sighs to your desired ground transportation.

It is not necessary to reschedule a taxi from the airport to your hotel, since taxis will be waiting in the designated area (on the west side of baggage claim). Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passenger.
