Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino

The Brazilian theme of this popular off-Strip hotel originally captured the fancy of locals, but the hotel just kept growing and growing into a sprawling resort now geared more to visitors. The Masquerade Village packs tables and machines underneath a free attraction called the "Masquerade Show in the Sky." Parade floats packed with dancing showgirls circle an overhead, suspended monorail track as dozens of specialty performers sing, dance, mime, and stilt-walk below. It all happens several times each day.

The Village segues into the older, more traditional casino to the west; in all, there are 1,710 machines and 70 tables throughout the 120,000 square feet of casino space. The player's club at Rio is part of the Harrah's Total Awards Program, which enables you to earn Rio comps at Harrah's locations around the country. With garages on both sides, remembering where you parked the car may be the biggest challenge of the evening.
